my mind at work

SLEEP
after going through about a month of 19-hour days, there is a lot that can go wrong...
i always get scared that my body might just decide to catch up on sleep one day and i'll be asleep for 19 hours...
sleep tends to be irregular...
there are days i can function fully with 5 hours of sleep...those nights consist of those 5-minute sleep periods that feel like half hours...<-i LOVE those
and then...there are those days i can sleep 5 hours and think i've slept for 10 minutes...
today...my body played a trick on me...
i fell asleep at about 5 in the afternoon...
and i was rudely awakened at 8:49 and i was REALLY pissed...
i thought i had missed my 8:00 class and thought of the consequences of my absence...
it took a whole minute for me to figure out that i did not sleep 16 hours, but about 4 hours...
because it's not unusual for me to go to sleep at 2:00 in the morning and get up at 6:30, my body considered the 4 hour nap as a night sleep and told me i needed to go to class...
darn...

ACADEMICS
i spent the afternoon organizing my schedules for the next two semesters...
they'll be rough...
for spring, i'll be "cutting down" to 20 or 19 credit hours
i've figured out the classes i wanted to take...but there's still room for changes...
mainly because of STUPID survey of calculus for business majors...
i'm trying to find a way out of it...
but if i absolutely must take it, i'll be taking it in spring...
if i don't have to take it, i'll apply for transient and take a higher level math class just for the heck of it...

HOME
"home is where the heart is"
which brings somewhat of a menial question to my attention...
where is "home" for me?

FOOTBALL
no, i don't think bobby bowden should retire
as ESPN says, "how do you ask a legend to retire?"
you don't...jeff bowden deserves all the critism he's getting right now and nothing more...
micky andrews is my hero...florida state has just been suffering with a quarterback situation and a running game...
i think it's been proven that starting an inexperienced quarterback for the sake of when he's a senior is not smart...
someone explain NFL OT rules to me...they seem stupid
Cardinals should've won against raiders...
after how they played against the Bears, they REALLY should've won
peyton manning never ceases to amaze me...
how can he be so good?

FACEBOOK GROUPS
there are lots of things when it comes to "facebook groups"
...too many duplicate groups...
i'm not talking about the ones that are for specific networks against the ones that are global
but the ones who decide to make their own groups just so they can be an admin of a group...
every group i've created, i've searched for a similar group...
i wish people would start doing the same and stop being gay about making their own groups...
i'm very selective about my groups...
if i reject a group invitation, it's not because i have a reason not to join the group, but because i don't have a reason to join the group...catch my drift?
i wish people would start considering the waste they're creating by making their own groups...
oh...and "official petition" shouldn't be two words to attract people into a group...
please don't title your group as an "official petition" unless the group is looked at by people who actually matter...
don't be stupid...
i wanna make a group that emphasizes the stupidity of these types of groups..."facebook groups are stupid" just doesn't do it for me...
but i wouldn't know what to put as a title...any suggestions?
i can't find one like it because i don't know what to search for...
